As a candle fragrance designer I am very sensitive to fragrances and how they can transform a room. I started Couture with a commitment to crafting candles that create a sexy and sensual ambiance in the home. I believe the only way to do this is to start with the finest fragrances blended by master perfumers. Then I take the finest custom soy wax blend available, and individually pour each candle by hand with the best wicks available on the market. I am proud to say the end result is a clean burning phthalate free candle with delicate scents that will fragrance (not saturate) large areas of your home.
I believe it is always very important to support local small businesses and keep as many product components made and manufactured in America as I can. While it might cost a little more to manufacture, the high quality and commitment to craftsmanship speaks for itself.
We all have a responsibility to take care of our environment and keep it as clean as possible. The boxes, papers, and glassware we use are all made using recycled products. Please continue the recycle reuse cycle. Our candle glasses are great to re-use for holding dried flowers or displaying shells or rocks. Some crafty decoupage can turn our packaging boxes into a special gift box for a birthday or holiday gift.
As I’ve traveled around the country selling my candles people have pointed out that 5th Avenue and Madison Avenue never meet. Of course that’s true; in New York City those streets never intersect. But, the class, quality, upscale sophistication, luxury, and fashion found on those two iconic boulevards do meet in every passionately hand poured candle of The Fifth & Madison Collection. Whenever you light one of our candles, you’re at the intersection of 5th and Madison.
